WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Sales Data Analyst who will be responsible for working independently to add value to the Amazon Sales Team through a variety of responsibilities, including data analysis, report creation, and effective communication.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and insightful sales performance reports utilizing different data sources.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
  • Create compelling sales presentations (slides) and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct a daily audit of Product Detail Pages and report issues related to policy compliance, loss of buy box, 3P sellers, and PDP content health.
  • Independently leading various requests, initiatives, and projects requiring a high degree of organization and effective communication across multiple departments and functions.
  • Support Sales Account Managers in various tasks and processes, including forecasting, reporting, and internal/external communication.
  • Interface with multiple internal teams, including marketing, sales operations, finance, and business intelligence, and assist in increasing efficiencies and functionality in the sales process.
  • Maintain internal sales and account management documents (promotions roadmaps, promotion submission templates, promotion agreements, marketing planner, sales and insights reporting, etc.)
Required Experience and Education:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven professional experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Tableau, Alteryx and SQL.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve and prioritize.
  • Ability to utilize technology in creating workplace and process efficiencies.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability and commitment to excellence.
  • Enjoy collaboration with the team but know when to take ownership of tasks.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
