Principal Software Engineer

Openings: 1 Full-Time Role, at least 8+ years of relevant experience
Salary Range: $130-150k, , based on experience
Knowledge Requirements: 

• Programming Proficiency: Experience in Java, Python (emphasized for data/machine learning)
• Web Development: Skilled in frameworks like HTML5, Java Server Faces, JavaScript, PHP, ASP.NET, Django, Rails.
• Database Expertise: Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB) for supporting machine learning.
• SDLC Involvement: Active in all software development stages, including system requirement analysis and deployment of machine learning models.
• Data & Machine Learning: Capable of data collection, analysis, and creating machine learning models for predictive analytics.
• Software Design & Documentation: Develop and maintain design documents, emphasizing machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Metadata & Database Architecture: Coordinate design and population of databases to support machine learning operations.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure software and machine learning models adhere to development standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software automating business processes with integrated data/machine learning solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy scalable machine learning models.
• Ensure databases and metadata structures support efficient machine learning operations.
• Adhere to best practices in software engineering and data science, including documentation and version control.

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $130-150k, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in AI and Machine Learning such as experience in programming, web development, programming, Software Design and Data and Machine Learning.

Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance.
