About the Role

As a Product Manager at Raisa Energy based in Cairo, Egypt, you will be responsible for leveraging data and extracting insights to drive our product vision, strategy and development while ensuring alignment with the company goals. You will work in cross-functional squads that include Design, Development, Data science, Data Engineering, and Oil & Gas domain experts to drive innovation, solve problems, and create solutions that align with the overall business objectives. 


Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Raisa Design, Data Science, Data Engineering, Development, and business teams to create impactful solutions to Raisa’s complex business needs.

  • Depending on business needs, travel to Denver, CO no more than 3 times yearly, to meet with business stakeholders and teams.

  • Own the product roadmap and priorities associated with squad objectives and assist in formulating long-term strategic plans and roadmaps for all Raisa products, services, and models.

  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (C-suite to developer and everywhere in between) throughout the product development journey, from creating a vision to solution implementation.

  • Partner with the Raisa Design team and others to conduct user research and discovery to understand and define user personas, pain points, and potential opportunities.

  • Analyze product and user data to extract actionable insights and trends that could inform product strategy and business decisions.

  • Conduct industry and market analysis to identify technology trends, competitive dynamics, and potential areas for growth of Raisa products.

  • Help identify potential 3rd party product partnerships or tools that could be leveraged to achieve company objectives.

  • Actively provide appropriate feedback on workflows, processes, and team dynamics to help Raisa continuously strive for improvements.

  • Help identify and mitigate risks associated with all Raisa products and offerings in collaboration with other stakeholder groups.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify and prioritize future work and enhancements.


Requirements

Must Have

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a Product Manager role or 7+ years in the Oil and Gas industry with a strong desire to move to product management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop strategic insights
  • Ability to drive impact and value while working with remote teams
  • Ability to balance technical considerations with business objectives and market trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Passion for innovation and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Experience in statistical analysis, visualization techniques, and use of BI tools
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent experience in business, marketing, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of financial analysis, including financial modeling and valuation
  • Knowledge of Subsurface, Reservoir engineering, Finance, or Land in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms and programming languages (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Python, R, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data infrastructure, integration, modeling, and architecture
