The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Business Intelligence team, the Lead Business Intelligence Engineer is the point person for the firm’s primary BI Analytics platforms. This role will define and architect the best practices of a BI infrastructure, coordinate operational design, develop support plans and provide support for applications.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in preliminary data analysis for new reports to determine whether required data exists within datawarehouse; identify and document authoritative sources for existing data; define onboarding plans for new data
• Collaborate with process owners and operational partners to comprehensively analyze data in order to produce reports and dashboards, and identify valid values for the data
• Support data quality through data profiling, defining and documenting data quality and data validation rules, performing root cause analysis for identified data quality issues, and supporting data cleansing efforts to ensure that data is fit for its intended use
• Independently manage assigned projects, across the life cycle from initiation through to closing
• Develop and deliver clear and concise, high-quality dashboards to partners and leadership that provide the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
• Participate significantly as a core member of our agile squads, including attending daily stand-up, grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies, documenting user stories, and tracking and reporting on relevant project metrics day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Sounds Like You?

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Experience working on MS Power BI Projects along with experience on other components of MS Power BI
• Excellent understanding on how to create reports and dashboards with appropriate resource, schedules, monitoring and reporting in multi cross functional environments.
• Experience in organizing large datasets and use appropriate tools to extract actionable insights. Includes innovative ways to integrate datasets that don’t generally mesh.
• Should have handled complexity around visualization or data.
• Understanding of database management systems
• Should be familiar and experienced in SQL. 
• Should be familiar with Snowflake or similar technology and some experience in Talend Data Integration
