The Headlines:

As a BI & Data Analytics Intern you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns.  The internship is a full-time summer position from May 5 - August 8 (Canada interns) and May 28 - August 8 (U.S. interns).

 

Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Model Development: Support the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models for various applications.
  • Visualization: Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and code to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Research: Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science.
  • Prototyping: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate the feasibility of new AI and data science ideas and approaches.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science OR STEM related degrees also applicable
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Strong Python and SQL programming skills
  • Experience developing machine learning models
  • Understanding of Generative AI models and applications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient to overcome obstacles
  • Driven and demonstrates a bias for action
  • Highly Collaborative

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred – relevant studies in business OR STEM related degrees also applicable
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Relevant work experience (prior internships or campus experience)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient to overcome obstacles
  • Driven and demonstrates a bias for action
  • Highly Collaborative
