As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the Global Services Customer Engineering Delivery team.

What you will learn and contribute to 
We custom-develop core network software/ features that our customers need as their networks evolve but cannot be offered from standard R&D roadmap. 

 

 

As part of our team, you will:
•    Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution.
•    Own technical part of the solution design/architecture, Development, Testing, Presales, scope of work.
•    Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
•    Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase  

Your skills and experience:

• 5-9 Years of relevant experience in LDAP based Database, Python Programming and other Scripting Language (Shell, Perl etc.) 
• Hands-on experience in C/C++ with Good command on Algorithms and data structures, state machines, Multithreading, Inter Process Communication (IPC), Client-server based communication model etc.
• Experience working on large carrier-grade solutions for customer
• Good in-depth Knowledge of Linux particularly SLES and RHEL/CentOS7+ concepts, including use of package manager (like yum or rpm) for package installation and managing system services like sFTP, SSHD, system daemons etc
• Good Understanding of Virtualization techniques and methodologies
• Experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions – On OpenShift, Openstack, VmWare, AWS, Azure etc.
• Working experience in Application deployment modes, be it classic deployment (a Bare-metal or VM approach) or CLOUD deployment for above mentioned Public and Private Clouds.
• Good Understanding of Application Containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm Chart for Application Packaging). 
• Experience in DevOps – Writing CI/CD Pipelines and use of Jenkins and Ansible Tools for Build Automation & Deployment.
• Experience in working on Relational Databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL. Also, an understanding of any No SQL database like MongoDB, Cassandra etc. would be a plus
• Experience in LDAP, SOAP, XML, JSON, Kafka and RestFul API design (using HTTP & HTTP2) for application/service access.
• Working knowledge of GitHub/Gerrit (GIT), JIRA
• Good Softskills – Interaction with Customer/Local team for Requirement Gathering, Analysis and Discussion

 

Good to have

• Knowledge on 3G/4G/VOLTE Network elements & Call processing
• Understanding of 5G Architecture with basic understanding of all Network Elements and their functions and interfaces.
• Understanding of System dependencies & dimensioning of Software Application performance and High Availability.
• Understanding of log collector tools like rsyslogd, fluentd etc.
• Understanding of SNMP (V2c, v3) for Fault management and statistics collections
