Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) conferred by June 2025

  • Experience programming with an OOP language (C++, Python, Java, C#, etc.)

What We Value as Members of FactSet’s Engineering Community:

  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming and design

  • Understanding of modern web technologies like JavaScript, Typescript, Vue, HTML5/CSS3, etc.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby

  • Familiarity with relational or unstructured database technology such as Postgres, SQL, Kafka, Cassandra

  • Windows and Linux programming environments

  • Knowledge of Cloud technology stack in AWS, Azure or GCP

  • Working with and managing a large code base

  • Programming in a multi-threaded, distributed environment

  • Desire to both design and implement reliable and superior software
