Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities: as a Senior IMS developer, you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of the IMS product on the z/OS platform. You will lead work on the design, coding, and testing of features that enhance the functionality and performance of IMS, addressing both current and future client needs. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Support, Performance, and System Verification, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Leadership skills:

• 12 – 15 years in working with debuggers, compilers, language parsers, DevOps and CICD processes and editors.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical lead in translating requirements into High Level Designs by partnering with stakeholders (technical executives, product owners, product managers, designers, and other teams).
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure architectures that support DevOps practices.

Technical skills:

• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and NLP libraries like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.
• Skilled in data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to build and train AI models.
• Proficient in developing products and offering on Linux/Unix based systems.
• Thorough understanding of source control management tools (GitHub) and Agile Life Cycle Management tools.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Solid (5+ yrs) experience in providing technical direction to the development team through mentoring, coaching and guidance to team members on technical
• specifications, architecture, design, coding standards and best practices.
  Familiarity with micro-services architecture – ways to deploy, manage, and scale services in a production environment.
• Proficiency in NLP techniques for understanding and processing code, documentation, and user input.
• Solid understanding of Test methodologies, frameworks, processes and tools.
