Data Modeling-Staff Software Engineer

About the Role

In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, company objectives and Agile practices. You will collaborate closely with key business support teams, product managers, architecture to assist in resolving complex critical cross-team and cross-domain production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert and will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of domain and core programming technologies or packages to mentor and advise team members.

What You'll Do

Subject matter expertise in design of data models for enterprise analytics to align with standards that will enable conformance and usability across the enterprise landscape.
Responsible for data-field level data-mappings, vocabulary consistency and transformations via complex analytical relationships/access paths, including defining data strategies.
Work with Product Management and Business stakeholders to identify and evaluate data sources needed to meet business and project requirements.
Work with Product Architects and Tech Leads to understand functional business systems, data integration and analyze end-to-end data impacts.
Work with DQ Leads, for data integrity improvement/quality resolution so that these improvements are addressed at the source.

Who You Are

Over all 10 years of Experience in Data Modelling & Data Architecture space
Min 5 years Experience with SQL, RDBMS, Data Lakes and Warehouses
Min 2 years Experience in Azure, ADLS, Kafka, Apache Delta, Databricks/Spark, Hadoop ecosystem
Min 8 years Experience with any Data Modeling tool, such as Erwin, ERStudio is a Plus
Track record of collaboration with Business Partners, Product Managers and Technology teams
Good understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
Excellent verbal  and written communication skills
