Data Engineering, Content Internship/Co-op

In this Role, You Will...

• Build large-scale data pipelines and data entities, essential to efficient decision making
• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to improve data accessibility
• Participate in data quality assurance and validation processes
• Assist in optimizing database performance and structure
• Help document data architectures and processes

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Applied Science or a related field
• Proficient in SQL and one of the programming languages
• Familiar with Python data processing frameworks
• Understanding of Data Architecture and Data lake/warehouse concepts
• Familiar with data modeling
• Familiar with Data ETL pipelines and orchestration
• Interest in learning about how Data Engineering and Data Science can accelerate the development of the autonomy stack

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka)
• Familiar with Scala 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
• Understanding of machine learning concepts
• Previous internship or project experience in data-related fields

CompensationThe monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
