We’re looking for a Director of Data Analytics to join our team!

We are looking for a Director of Data Analytics to drive key data strategies at Greenhouse! As Director you'll play a key role in leading core product and financial analytics that will deliver insights and recommendations that drive strategic initiatives for the company. You’ll lead cross-functional stakeholders to follow scalable data processes and work with senior leadership to develop data-informed strategies. You will be responsible for delivering analytics that inform product enhancements and data service capabilities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists and Data Analysts to effectively execute upon our data, product, and company strategy
  • Proactively identify and address opportunities and challenges to align with the product vision, resulting in an increase in product innovation and data service capabilities
  • Communicate analyses cross-functionally across all levels, elevating the conversation from “in the weeds” data to actionable insights
  • Lead data-driven decision-making processes even in the midst of complexity or uncertainty


You should have

  • Experience leading analytics teams
  • A deep understanding of data analytics methodologies, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling
  • Proficiency in using various data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience building dashboards and analyzing large data sets to solve problems
  • Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and other cross-functional partners
  • Experience leading data-driven decision-making processes even in the midst of complexity or uncertainty
  • Scrupulous attention to detail
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields, strongly preferred
  • Data analytics experience in SaaS, strongly preferred

The national pay range for this role is $169,000 - $253,500. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
