About this opportunity

Welcome to the Data Systems Engineering team. We add value by creating solutions that support our mission of democratizing data access and make it possible for customers and staff to benefit from Nordea's rich and unique data. As Head of Data Quality, you’ll play a valuable role in developing and coaching your direct reports.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing, growing and evolving the unit and its capabilities.  
  • Working with the head of Data Systems Engineering to develop strategic plans. 
  • Leading a group of experienced QA professionals. 
  • Collaborating with other capability area functions.  
  • Managing operational team activities. Ensuring that mandatory and compliance activities are delivered with highest quality and according to set time frames.  
  • Supporting budgetary and resource planning.  


You’ll join a team with a high level of knowledge and experience. The role can be based in Poland, Finland, Sweden or Norway.

  • Thrive in dynamic environment and are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Have great team-working skills, enjoy learning and are excited about bringing ideas to the table.
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to engage people.
  • Experience in working with distributed teams.
