Ops Data Analytics Manager

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Data Strategy Development:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive data analytics strategy that aligns with the company's operational goals, focusing on enhancing the performance of donor centers. 
  • Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling:
  • Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast donor center performance, identify potential issues before they arise, and drive proactive decision-making across the operations department. 
  • Data Governance & Quality Management:
  • Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure high-quality, consistent, and accurate data is available across the organization, serving as a trusted single source of truth. 
  • Operational Performance Reporting:
  • Create and maintain a suite of performance dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to executive leadership, operations managers, and center directors, enabling data-driven decision-making. 
  • Training & Development:
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance data literacy within the operations team, ensuring that managers and staff are equipped to utilize data analytics tools effectively in their daily activities. 
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Leverage data analytics to support continuous improvement projects, optimizing processes such as donor scheduling, inventory management, and workforce allocation. 
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders, translating them into clear, actionable recommendations for operational improvements. 
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies. 

This Is What It Takes:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. 
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within a healthcare or life sciences environment. Experience in leading analytics teams is highly desirable. 
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel. 
  • Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms 
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). 
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and executive leadership, to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. 
  • Communication and Problem-Solving:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop data-driven solutions to complex operational challenges. 
  • Data Governance & Quality Management:
  • Strong commitment to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data with experience in implementing data governance frameworks. 
  • Understanding of industry regulations related to data privacy and security, ensuring that all data practices comply with relevant laws and standards. 
  • Innovation and Adaptability:
  • Innovative thinking with the ability to stay ahead of industry trends and adopt new technologies or methodologies that enhance the company’s data capabilities. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, quickly applying data analytics to new challenges.
