The Reality Labs (RL) Research Team in Zurich, CH is looking for research interns to tackle the most ambitious problems in the creation of photorealistic digital humans. In this internship, we aim to build photorealistic human avatars with multi-layered garments. Given a short monocular/ multi-view video of a subject we aim to reconstruct their 3D avatar with separable, multi-layered garments. Our avatar would be fully animatable with editable clothing.

We envision a world where people connect across vast distances so our roles focus on capturing and modeling the full human body shape, clothing and motion. As part of our team you will build new ways of performance capture and real-time, photorealistic avatars that are controllable.

Our internships are sixteen (16) to twenty four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.

RESEARCH TOPICS
*Virtual humans, animatable avatar creation.
*Surface detail reconstruction, photoreal rendering and novel view synthesis.
*Neural representations and deep implicit models.Research Scientist Intern, Machine Learning, Digital Humans (PhD) Responsibilities
