Pwc Luxembourg is hiring an AI/ML Azure Engineer (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission: As an AI Azure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our AI and machine learning projects, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful implementation of AI solutions within a cloud-based or on-prem environment. You will be part of a talented team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall architecture and strategy of our technology landscape. 
 

Be a part of our team where you will:  

  • Work with Data, algorithms, models, platforms to ensure the models are operating correctly, efficiently and at scale.
  • Work closely with the other Data and IT profiles to ensure project outcome usability and product durability.
  • Follow PwC IT, PM and Data Governance best-practices and guidelines as well as meet design requirements and project timeline.
  • You will be responsible for creating prototypes to validating proposed ideas and solicit input from stakeholders, running test-driven development and continuous integration processes, support and troubleshooting.
  • You will part of a team for designing and building AI-based solutions.
  • Port new machine learning algorithms and models onto data science platforms.
  • Develop end-to-end ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Integrate machine learning solutions with existing business applications and systems.
  • Produce high quality automated work, with excellent reliability and scalability.
  • Act as senior technical person to develop process and metrics to monitor model performance.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to prototype new concepts and deliver end-to-end systems.
  • Explore novel architectural solutions and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Prepare visualizations of data & systems to explain and persuade.
  • Communicate results to stakeholders across the business.
  • Work closely with the Tax line of service to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
  • Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written.

Let’s talk about you. If you … 

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or several years of experience in computer science, data science, software development, or another related field; a master’s degree is recommended
  • Have proven experience (2-3+ years) as a Machine Learning Engineer, with a focus on Azure ML services.
  • Show solid understanding of common programming languages used in AI, such as Python, Scala or C#.
  • Have experience with AI-based solutions and Generative AI technologies.
  • Have experience with Azure(preferred), GCP, AWS or other Open-Source models.
  • Have experience working with large data sets and writing efficient code capable of processing large data streams at speed.
  • Are familiar with DevOps principles including code repository, code management, CI/CD.
  • Have a good understanding of software architecture patterns & application development.
  • Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
