Power BI Developer

Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Power BI Developer. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that benefit our country.

Responsibilities

• Perform data preparation by identifying and connecting to multiple data source, selecting a storage mode, and using multiple data cloud based and/or on-premises data sources.
• Profile the data by examining data structures, identifying data anomalies, and analyzing column properties.
• Clean, transform, and load data by identifying and creating appropriate keys for joins.
• Apply data shape transformation to table structures and configuring data loading.
• Model data by definite tables, define relationship cardinality and cross-filter direction, leverage DAX to build complex measures.
• Optimize the model’s performance.
• Visualize the data by creating reports and dashboards.
• Analyze the data by enhancing reports to expose insights, and by performing advanced analysis.
• Deploy and maintain deliverables by managing datasets.

Essentials

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization and reporting and 1 year development in Power BI.
• Certification: Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate or equivalent
• Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance is required
• On-site: Must be able to work 3 days per week in Washington, DC
