POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of our Smart Bus Technology team, the data analyst you will support the execution of all NFI Connect data science and projects management, software applications development and maintenance. The analyst will be accountable for completion and accuracy of assigned tasks related to NFI Connect including data analytics, development, and maintenance of the NFI Connect 360 reports, BI (Business Intelligence) solutions and tools available for internal and external customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Acquires and maintains an expert command on the use of NFI Connect, including a functional understanding of the system's capabilities and limitations.
  • Manage and support new and current software projects development, statistical analysis, BI and HK projects.
  • Work with designers (BI analyst, Development Specialist and Application Development Engineer) in improving processes and controls. (for example, automation of HVIP report, 360 Reports QA)
  • Provide technical and business support to team.
  • Provide regular status updates as required.
  • Work and support other departments and customers on new requests/reports/projects.
  • Provides support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departments as required.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Engineering or Computer Science Student or Technical Institute as a Technologist Student.
  • Bus and Coach Operations and/or Maintenance.
  • Advanced programming experience (Python preferred) / Telematics.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI (Paginated Report, Power BI Premium Service).
  • Data Science and Analytics / Project Management.
  • Proficient in SQL / Experience with API operations.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse and Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Data Bricks).
