As a Product Manager within the Data and Machine Learning team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
 Job responsibilities
  • Work closely with marketers and lines of business to understand their business problems and determine the right data needed to address these challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to engineer new data features to support various business use cases following a test-driven approach.
  • Support the development and implementation of an omnichannel personalization platform to ensure Chase remains at the forefront of consumer banking.
  • Be hands-on with data, gaining deep expertise in various datasets, understanding existing schemas, and defining new schemas and metadata as needed.
  • Manage data analysis projects and work across multiple teams to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.
  • Utilize analytical thinking, product metrics, market analysis, and company OKRs to prioritize data initiatives and drive business decisions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Hands on experience in data analysis, business analytics and agile practices such as JIRA, epic/story refinement, epic/story writing and PBR
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics, with a proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Expertise in data analysis, including knowledge of Big Data technologies, algorithms, and foundational knowledge of AWS cloud and terminology, along with a technical understanding of working with engineering teams to develop scalable, extensible data products and services.
  • Must be proactive, results-driven, and have a proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions, with excellent project management skills and a motivation to achieve results.
  • Experience making difficult prioritization decisions with a focus on user and business benefits and trade-offs, and an analytical mindset with a focus on KPIs and measurement.
  • Ability to influence people at all levels with diverse points of view and across a broad variety of job functions, and being a structured and strategic thinker with excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • BS or MS in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or a comparable field of study, with knowledge of current digital banking trends.
