Job Overview and Responsibilities

 

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities.  We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Join us in one of our 3 service centres: Lisbon, Curitiba, and Bangkok, be part of this transformation journey from the start.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational services under operational scope, on a timely basis, according to defined procedures, respecting quality and compliance:
    • Respond to incoming inquiries about the data domain
    • Coordinate regular obsolete and mass master data maintenance jobs
    • Initiate and drive actions for data cleansing and harmonization
    • Act as primary support in training / work shadowing activities and audits.
  • Ensure up-to-standard service delivery, correct processing of data and maintenance of the system:
    • Conduct regular control checks and critical operational controls
    • Support process and quality implementation
  • Coordinate multiple input processes, run reporting, perform complex analysis, be able to support data migration activities. Understand interface and interconnections with other processes.
  • Prepare/deliver all needed information for BSA/Business or Regulatory needed purposes, such as report or data analysis
  • Find and implement quick fix solutions for problems or escalate issues to the upper level depending on criticality and transversal impacts
  • Analyse gaps between operations and KPI’s and propose improvement actions.
  • To continuously identify, propose and implement any possible process improvements in collaboration with the Team Leader and the Data Architect
  • Update procedures based on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure or perform training activities
  • Maintain his/her knowledge about process & tools & customer business
  • Active participation in different projects
  • Internal controls followed
  • Ensure compliance with Group Internal Control and policies

 

Education and Experience

Experience in SAP & Data Management.

Solid knowledge of domain specific tools (SAP, BW)

 

Must-have skills

Good communication skills, with a supporting mindset

Problem-Solving capabilities

High level of initiative 

Quick learner/willingness to learn and develop

Autonomous

 

Must-have language skills

Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
