Job Description:

Position Overview

Parsons is seeking to hire a qualified Professional Services Consultant. This position is a key member of the SigmaFlow software’s Professional Services team responsible for implementations and improving the experience of SigmaFlow’s client base.  The core responsibility as a professional services team member is to interface and work directly with clients on their project implementations of the SigmaFlow compliance software.

Participates in design specification, technical configuration, test planning, and deployment of client implementations. The incumbent at this level is competent in using standard systems analysis techniques and relevant tools. The individual will be assigned to a technical project where the role is to recommend the most efficient and economical means to meet the client’s goals and objectives, within the technical boundaries of the application.

This role is a hybrid role, but the candidate must be working in the Dallas, TX area.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Interface with the SigmaFlow clients, participating in project plans, solution configuration, orientations, requirement gathering, and taking the solution into the production environment.
  • Work on developing specification document for the client’s regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize SQL and application knowledge to configure custom workflows, data libraries, and reports in the SigmaFlow platform.
  • Test configuration against specification document and test cases to ensure high quality.
  • Provide first-tier support to clients including answering questions, troubleshooting and analyzing problems, and forming solutions.
  • Work with client’s administrators and IT department to install the application on client server infrastructure, application configuration, and production environment setup.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize JIRA and Smartsheet to support multiple projects and customers during design and implementations.
  • Work with SigmaFlow Support team to respond address support tickets from customers.
  • Prepare the SigmaFlow FERC/NERC Standards package for quarterly release and work closely with development team to collaborate the release.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 0-2 years’ experience or a similar role.
  • Experienced in SQL reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize, manage, and deliver assigned tasks within stipulated timelines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving acumen and technical prowess.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills suitable for professional contexts, including the capacity to articulate technical data cogently in presentations and written documents.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Familiarity with project management applications such as JIRA and Smartsheet.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL development.
