Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

Building next generation Gen AI, Bots & IoT platform and verticals, enabling Maxis to provide leading IoT solutions to customers covering end to end solution landscape by integrating solutions onto Maxis platforms followed by streaming data accordingly to analytics, dashboards, AI models and 3rd party.

Leading, implementing and running cutting edge software technologies in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and new hardware capabilities as they are production readied.

It also includes integrating solutions from multiple solution providers into a cohesive customer proposition via a single look and feel within a consolidated view.

What are you accountable for?

• Proactively architect, design and develop digital solutions which are highly scalable in production using open and standards based frameworks and functionalities across digital solutions
• Build digital solutions which meets customer requirements with the ability to decouple functionalities and reuse into other digital solutions to be built in the future
• Responsible to design, build and run digital solutions on time using standardized and leading technologies with the aim of building modular components which are highly reliable and scalable
• Proactively ensuring Maxis digital solutions are built and run using industry leading technical capabilities which are constantly being upgraded in an iterative process
• Work with business and technical team members to enable and implement strong development & operations processes, tools and mechanisms with the goal to achieve internal & external customer SLOs & SLAs
• Ability to manage and lead troubleshooting of complex issues, implement performance fixes and be on production support during high load periods

What do you need to have for the role?

Formal Education

Bachelors Degree specialized in: Computer Science or related qualification

Work Experience

Total Work Experience: 2 - 4 years

Skills / Knowledge

• Strong development experience using languages such as Node.JS, Java & Bash and familiarity with languages such as Python, Ruby, C++, C, .Net and on Unix based platforms
• Experienced in building Android & IOS mobile applications in either native or hybrid form, preferably using Ionic
• Strong UI/UX development experience using ReactJS, AngularJS and other similar UI/UX frameworks
• Have experience in DevOps & Infrastructure as code practices specifically in technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Puppet, Kafka and similar technologies
• Experienced in AI and machine learning using open source solutions such as TensorFlow, Hadoop, Spark and other similar data science tech stack
• Knowledge on infrastructure with demonstrated ability to design solutions Unix based OS, storage, databases & network
• Preferably certified in Microsoft Azure fundamentals with knowledge on IoT hub
• Preferably understands IoT ecosystem well from sensors to IoT edge devices to IoT platforms processing & managing device data
• Thrives in an agile environment in setting up and supporting solutions with continuous integration & delivery
• Highly proactive, ability to multi-task, a team player and able to communicate effectively
