The Institutional Buy Side SBU is responsible for the strategy, execution and development of products that will establish FactSet as the premier technology partner for the Analytics investment community. The backbone of these products are portfolio holdings, which the Client Data Integration (CDI) team plays a critical role in ensuring quality, timeliness and completeness of. The Regional Director of EMEA CDI will lead a cross functional team whose goal is to execute a top-down plan to increase clients ability to on-board data and ensure data connectivity across all parts of the Portfolio Life Cycle.

This leader will work closely with analytics sales specialists, consulting, professional services, and sales in the EMEA to assess data integration needs, capabilities, and determine resourcing on various engagements. In addition to collaboration with client-facing teams, this role works closely with  Analytics Infrastructure PD and Analytics Infrastructure Engineering to improve our integration capabilities and ensure a seamless workflow across our products and solutions.

This position will report to the Global Director of CDI.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a plan that outlines the short and long term vision for the group, key product and feature needs specific to the EMEA region, strategic partnerships (both internal and external) and a workforce plan. Design plan to effectively utilize global team including specialists in sales offices as well as support team to balance large volume of requests and ensure optimal personnel usage.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Infrastructure PD and Engineering teams on product direction to ensure alignment on key product deliverables and roadmap.
  • Partner with the EMEA sales and consulting teams, product specialists, and implementation teams to align on PoCs, implementations and support across the world, accounting for specific regional nuances.
  • Use your deep understanding of portfolio data integration workflows and FactSet infrastructure to craft statements of work, implementation plans, allocate resources appropriately on projects, and understand project profitability.
  • Ensure new clients are implemented with long term supportability in mind, following FactSet and CDI’s best practices for loading client portfolio data, and that support requests for existing implementations are assigned to the appropriate teams.
  • Manage all incoming requests in the new implementation and support queues for the region and ensure prioritization of requests, handle redirecting requests to other teams where appropriate, and ensure timely delegation of all RPDs.
  • Act as an individual contributor for certain projects in the regions, especially those that are of strategic value, large ASV, or represent key partnerships with new vendor/systems integrations.
  • Provide support for local specialist team (direct reports) and support team (matrix reports) in the form of regular one-on-one catch ups, team meetings, trainings, and assistance on projects.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of scripting languages used by FactSet to support client and vendor preprocessing scripts
  • Deep understanding of FactSet’s portfolio data infrastructure including Custodial Framework, parser and OFDB technology, and Cornerstone
  • Previous experience with Client Data Integration, Core Analytics, and/or FactSet analytics implementation is required.
  • Experience with building global teams including in sales offices as well as in FactSet’s CoE locations (Manila, Hyderabad)
