As a Software Engineer, you will be dedicated to your microservices and deal with the challenges of large architecture that is scalable, balanced, sends over 500 million messages daily and helps our clients to grow their business.It’s an opportunity to work in one of our requirement areas, so no matter if you are taking care that our infrastructure is set to place if you work on the collection and analysis of data traffic, if you are responsible for connectivity and security towards operators or if you are developing custom communication channels, you are an equally important part of the story.

What will you do at Infobip?

• You will develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot your team services.
• You will have full ownership of the code you produce.
• You will write well designed, testable, and scalable code by clean code principles.
• You will have a general overview and understanding of the interactions and dependencies in the entire system.
• You will work autonomously on challenging tasks.
• You will work within the agile framework (Scrum, LESS) and have a dedicated Product Manager.
• You will participate with your team in agile practices such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• You will give suggestions regarding architecture and service design.
• You will expand and improve your knowledge both internally and externally and be a part of the engineering community.

About the Team

You will join a dynamic team of developers and data scientists focused on real-time and near real-time detection of spam and fraud data.

We work closely together to integrate machine learning models deployed on Kubernetes into our services. Our systems are deployed across over 20 data centers worldwide, ensuring high availability and scalability. We process large volumes of data from Kafka and analyze client traffic in real-time using technologies like Java, Kotlin, Redis, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, ADX, and Kubernetes.

As a developer joining our team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of existing and new services and solutions in the spam/fraud domain. You'll collaborate with the data science team on model training, data preparation, and creating technological solutions that handle large amounts of data.

Qualifications

More about you:
• You are a mid or senior professional looking for a high growth challenge.
• You have experience working with Java (version 1.8 and above) or Kotlin.
• You have experience with Spring and Spring Boot development.
• You have good knowledge and understanding of object-oriented principles.
• You have good knowledge and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• You have experience working with concurrent and multi-tier applications.
• You are recognizing the value of code-review and experience with code testing (unit, integration).
• You have a good understanding of RESTful services.Nice to have qualifications:• You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary or similar.
• You have an understanding of databases and data management tools like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka or others.
• You have worked with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Slack.
• You are ready to adopt, implement or propose new technologies.
• You have experience in technologies such as Kotlin, Go, Groovy, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus or others.
