Senior Engineering Manager, Data Analytics Integration

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Data Analytics and Integration team, overseeing multiple scrum teams and expanding to support Force.com teams. This leader will drive engineering excellence across the data analytics integration space, manage shared services, and ensure successful delivery on cross-functional requests. The ideal candidate will also manage MSPs and contract-based development teams, ensuring outcomes align with KPIs for operational excellence, security clearance, and innovation within the enterprise data platform.
Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage multiple scrum teams across data analytics and integration, and lead efforts to support Force.com teams. Oversee the daily management of priorities, objectives, and trade-offs.
• Operational Excellence: Focus on KPIs for operational excellence, ensuring high service availability, and customer satisfaction. Proactively manage security clearance on applications and the platform for data.
• Innovation and Planning: Drive innovation by balancing strategic and tactical work streams. Leverage agile methodologies and short release cycles to deliver solutions that meet business needs and foster continuous improvement.
• Shared Services Leadership: Lead the shared services team in managing requests from multiple internal teams while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, security, infrastructure, etc.) to ensure alignment on priorities and goals. Partner with MSPs and manage contracts to ensure the successful delivery of SOW outcome-based projects.
• People Development: Invest in employees' career goals, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
• Architecture and Planning: Participate in architecture discussions, ensuring the team is making technically sound decisions. Influence product vision by working closely with product management and engineering leadership.
• Problem Resolution: Actively manage production issues, maintaining high morale, and encouraging teams to go above and beyond in delivering solutions.
• Culture and Inclusion: Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, foster collaboration, and recruit top talent with an emphasis on diversity. Cultivate a culture of operational excellence and service ownership.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects with a proven track record of success on technically demanding projects.
• Experience leading multiple scrum teams and familiarity with agile methodologies and short release cycles.
• Experience managing shared services teams and overseeing requests from multiple service teams.
• Experience managing MSPs and contracts, ensuring delivery on outcome-based projects with SOWs.
• Strong technical skills in data analytics, integration, and cloud platforms (Force.com experience a plus).
• Experience in building and leading teams with a focus on employee growth, technical mentorship, and career development.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with product management, security, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
• A passion for fostering innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, including experience with PaaS and SaaS environments.
• Experience with managing hybrid teams and working with remote or distributed teams.
• Strong expertise in leading cross-functional engineering teams with a focus on operational excellence and security compliance.
