Data Manager II

Job Description

The Nutrition and Data Manager as a member of the Corrections team works collaboratively to manage nutrition information and enable development and delivery of strategic product and menu offerings to support the business. This position supports nutrition/ingredient and recipe management of the corporately supported Corrections database with collaboration across channels.

Job Responsibilities

• Requests and reviews product specification and nutritional documentation from manufacturers/suppliers.
• Manages nutritional facts information and linkage for all ingredients.
• Ensures data integrity and accuracy in the nutrition, allergen, and special diet information in the PRIMA Web master database.
• Troubleshoots all nutritional information gaps in ingredients and recipes. Communicates updated nutritional information as needed.
• Maintains NOSS Corrections SharePoint supplier documentation library.
• Assist with the testing, creation and writing of corrections recipes

• Maintains compliance to regulatory standards and guidance (e.g., CN/NSLP, USDA/FDA regulations allergen, labeling) within corporately managed databases.   
  • Support integration of AI into Aramark’s PRIMA Web Master System
  • Manages VI/MI linking service requests for Corrections team.
  • Manages pricing updates for Single Source SKUs monthly and for non-Single Source products biannually and or as needed.
  • Manages Corrections specific field tools and resources.
  • Provide analytical reporting that will be used in client-facing presentations.
  • Completes special projects and/or additional responsibilities as assigned.

The position works closely with the Culinary and Menu Enablement Team, Correctional Services Operations Team, PWM Administrators, Aramark IT, Supply Chain and external supplier partners and a range of other Aramark business and support personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, culinary arts or related field.
• Nutrition knowledge and understanding of child nutrition and national school lunch requirements for Student Nutrition is highly desirable. 
• Experience with Aramark’s food management system (PRIMA) is highly desirable.
• Culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques is highly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated project management skills required.
• Strong analytic and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database platforms.
• Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment and evolving organization.
• Ability to think creatively and approach a wide variety of projects from new angles.
• Position may be remote, however, occasional travel will be required.
