- Through measurements, provide insight into performance limiters, reliability failure modes, and underlying electrical, magnetic, optical, and thermomechanical mechanisms.
- Write software in Python to develop novel test and analysis methods.
- Work closely with modeling groups to elucidate recording physics challenges.
- Work closely with other test engineers and data analysts in order to use models to explain experimentally observed phenomena.
- Develop machine learning models based on modeling and experimental data to predict device performance and reliability.
About you:
- Experience with lab electronics (oscilloscope, SMUs, AWG, spectrum analyzer, VNA, etc.)
- Experience with programming languages (Python, Cuda, C++, Fortran, etc.)
- Strong statistics skills
- Non-volatile memory/semiconductor test knowledge
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and learn new technology
