Position Title: Business Intelligence Analyst 

 

Location: Remote LATAM

 

What you will be doing:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data and analytics and eager to contribute to our retail and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making and enhance our business intelligence capabilities. • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs and metrics.
• Utilize SQL and Azure to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Support data integrity and quality assurance processes.
• Apply Python and Excel expertise for data analysis and light data science tasks, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Use SQL-lite for database management and querying.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist in the development of documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Ensure effective communication and interaction with stakeholders and team members.
• Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting, enabling stakeholders to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Leverage Azure services for cloud-based data solutions, enhancing scalability and accessibility of data analytics and reporting tools.
• Implement data visualization best practices to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Strong skills in Python and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with SQL and Azure for data querying and management.
• Experience with Jupyter notebooks.
• Basic knowledge of R or other data science tools is a plus.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Support the creation and management of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Power BI Fabric.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server as the primary data warehouse.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Experience with data visualization best practices.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools or platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server as the primary data warehouse.
• Utilization of Azure services for cloud-based data solutions.

Nice to Have Skills:

 

• Previous experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
• Experience with machine learning and AI-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Familiarity with retail and sales reporting.
