Job Overview and Responsibilities:
 

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Expert to join our team. While Qlik is the current tool utilized in this role, the right candidate should be flexible and open to using other Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytic Cloud. This position requires extensive experience in developing, managing, and optimizing BI platforms, transforming data into actionable business insights, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and deploy applications, reports, and dashboards using Qlik and potentially other BI tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that solutions align with business needs.
• Create data models and data integration solutions across various BI tools.
• Optimize data visualization techniques to produce interactive and insightful dashboards.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various data sources.
• Maintain and support existing BI applications and resolve any issues that arise.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the BI environment.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on various BI tools.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Business Intelligence and data visualization.

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a BI Developer or in a comparable position.
• Proven experience with QlikSense as well as other Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytic Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of BI data modeling, visualization, and scripting techniques.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Skills and Behavioral Competencies:

• Certifications in Qlik or other BI tools are advantageous.
• Proficiency in business analysis and understanding business requirements.
• Experience in pricing and commercial analytics projects.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R.

• Strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility.
