Your Role and Impact

As an Azure Data Architect, you'll be designing and deploying Azure data solutions that power transformative decisions and operational excellence. Your work will directly contribute to redefining how data is leveraged, making an indelible mark on the business landscape. You'll navigate complex data ecosystems, architecting data platform and harness the potential of Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cutting-edge Azure data platforms, with an emphasis on Fabric,  Synapse, PowerX platform, Databricks, and Snowflake, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead projects from inception to delivery, defining architecture, selecting tools, and overseeing change management to meet client needs.
• Master the translation of business requirements into scalable technical solutions, enhancing our client's data and analytics capabilities.
• Foster innovation through workshops and client engagements, setting the standard for Azure data architecture.
• Champion the integration of AI and machine learning technologies, including openAI, to architect AI-driven solutions that revolutionize industries.
• Embrace innovation by staying current with the latest trends in Azure and other relevant technologies
• Coach and mentor Junior team members, provide guidance on data architecture concepts and best practices.
• Act as a client-facing consultant with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Let's talk about you

• A seasoned professional with 7+ years in a global setting, , with at least 2 years of experience designing and implementing data solutions on the Azure platform.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Certifications in Azure and familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS are highly valued.
• Strong architectural skills, including the ability to design data solutions that are scalable, secure, and performant.
• Proficient in data management frameworks (DAMA-DMBoK) and data modeling methodologies (Data Vault, Kimball, etc.).
• A visionary in data & analytics trends, equipped with knowledge in CI/CD practices, and eager to obtain or currently holding certifications in Databricks or Snowflake.
• An effective communicator and leader, capable of steering teams toward success.
• Curious and analytical, with a knack for tackling complex problems in dynamic, international environments.
• You understand data in a modern data platform as data warehouses, master data and data quality.
• Fluent in English, with Dutch or French proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.      
• Master degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
