About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Agency Distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in data-driven decision-making. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our distribution strategies and improving agent performance through data analysis.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement sophisticated machine learning models to improve agent performance and optimize distribution strategies.
- Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced analytics techniques to drive insights and improve decision-making processes.
- Business Intelligence: Design and implement dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT, to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collected from various sources.
- Algorithm Development: Build and refine algorithms for agent segmentation and targeting.
- Strategic Insights: Provide actionable insights to improve agent recruitment, retention, and efficiency.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, , with a focus on AA, machine learning and predictive modeling, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
- Expert in both concept and building AI/ML models
- Sophisticated knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret sophisticated datasets.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Others:
- You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
