What does a successful Full Stack Development Engineer do at Fiserv? 

You will be responsible for application development within HRIT. You will own the full application development life cycle that includes requirements gathering, design, build, test, deploy and maintain. In addition to new enhancements, the position includes providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of existing applications. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with top talent and who is looking for an excellent opportunity to get involved with multiple HRIT projects with no limits to what they can accomplish.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with users and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React JS.
• Execute full life cycle software development, including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions, with a preference for Azure.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative.

What you will need to have: 

• 5+ years of experience with front-end and back-end development.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and React JS development.
• 5+ years of experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with Python programming and using libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
• Strong consultative skills and the ability to build solid relationships with your team, HR, cross-functional internal partners, and customers.
