Our challenge

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with knowledge of at least one Python web framework, such as Django, Flask, and others. depending on your technology stack.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Integration of data storage solutions.

Requirements:

You are:

• Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework {{such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack}}

• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture

• Experience in Numpy, Pandas

• Experienced in Devops.

It would be great if you also had:

• Banking domain experience
