Master Data Management - Analyst

iCapital is seeking a Master Data Management Analyst to support the Firm’s growing day to day needs around data management as well as expanding initiatives to enhance the customer experience of our data systems. You will be responsible for providing legal data extraction support in the context of reviewing and analysing Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Fact Sheets, Fund Prospectus, Private Placement Memorandum (PPM other documents related fund documents.

The ideal candidate should be excited and invested in ensuring business and client expectations are met and even exceeded, be willing to share innovative ideas on how to improve existing processes/procedures and embrace a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside colleagues across a variety of functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical data elements within the Fund’s Global Data Master (“GDM”)
• Liaise with key stakeholders and extract key legal and economic terms from funds documents (PPMs, Fund Prospectus, LPAs, Fact Sheets) for relevant data points to be entered into GDM
• Assist in the creation of business rules to monitor quality of the master data
• Work with the manager to obtain necessary documents to support data extraction
• Identify data cleansing opportunities
• Collaboration with team members to achieve the teams’ goals

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage workload independently within a predetermined timeline and communicate quickly when extension may be required.
• Great interpersonal skills (both verbally and in writing)
• Able to understand and summarize key terms in complex and lengthy fund documents
• Critical attention to detail when extracting key terms from fund documents
• 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry or related role
• Degree in law or finance is preferred
• Previous experience master data management professional is a plus
• Experience with SQL is a plus
• Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
