Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Research Scientist Intern to assist our team in developing and refining cutting-edge speech synthesis solutions in a voice to voice conversational setting, leveraging paralinguistic cues. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and learn from industry experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and testing of speech synthesis solutions in a voice to voice multi-turn conversational setting.

  • Collaborate with engineers and linguists to improve voice quality and user experience.

  • Analyze and process audio data for training purposes.

  • Conduct research on the latest trends in voice synthesis technology.

  • Help with documentation and presentation of findings.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Passion for language technology and audio processing.
