Description & Requirements

The Data Analyst uses data to drive the creation of analytic content that supports business initiatives, provides insights into the efficacy of programs and processes, ensures alignment to goals/KPIs, tracks progression towards those goals, and leverages that completed analytic content to identify areas of success and concern for the customers we serve. This is done by developing industry-specific knowledge and forming productive partnerships that position the Data Analyst as a valued partner that is committed to our customer’s success and functions as an extension of the customer’s team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high-quality, well-documented, actionable analytic content suitable for business use
  • Partner proactively with team members to understand requirements, document wireframes and release high quality data products
  • Ask to learn about project outcomes and KPIs to understand what success looks like
  • Build relationships and deliver value within the team
  • Participate in the design, development, testing and release efforts for new dashboards and enhancements to existing dashboards
  • Write UAT plans
  • Understand data quality & compliance process considerations
  • Ensure adherence to defined standard process and formats for data and visualization
  • Leverage company-standard tools (including Jira) to provide visibility to progression of projects
  • Understand existing reports and ad-hoc queries and respond to users requests

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience

·       2 or more years of dashboard design or development experience

  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving and project management

·       Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance

SKILL ReQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

  • Data visualization skills including dashboard development experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • Microsoft skills including SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of data and reporting concepts
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to creating high quality deliverables
  • Communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to interface with other team members
  • Analytical skills and business knowledge with the ability translate data into insights
  • Requirements, documentation and wireframing abilities
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to build relationships virtually within a team
  • Creative problem solver who takes ownership of their responsiblities
  • Ability to prioritize and proactively identify value-add activities

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE: 

  • Working knowledge of marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success business processes
  • Ability to contribute to team culture in a distributed/remote environment
