We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to oversee the design, development, and integration of AI solutions within Digital Oncology portfolio. This is hands-on role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, marketing, regulatory, and clinical SME teams to prioritize, design, and implement AI-based solutions that enhance quality, operability, and clinical workflows and deliver significant ROI to clinical operations responsibly.

Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle. Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • AI Initiative Development: Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI projects, products, features, and solutions including prioritizing, scoping, designing, and grooming AI initiatives in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
  • User Collaboration: Work directly with clinics and users to identify and implement AI use cases within their workflows, ensuring the solutions meet expected quality and ROI metrics.
  • Product Integration: Facilitate the integration of successful AI candidates into our existing products, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure AI integrations align with strategic objectives.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical expertise and experience to enhance the development of data-driven AI solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate the quality and effectiveness of AI solutions through rigorous testing and user feedback.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people. Effective interpersonal skills. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
  • Clinical & Oncology Background: A strong clinical background, with significant exposure to data and AI technologies. Extensive knowledge of oncology, including clinical workflows and treatment modalities.
  • Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Proficient understanding of the Product Lifecycle (PLC) and its application within the medical device industry.
  • Medical Device SDLC: In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) specific to medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • AI Acumen: Demonstrated experience in using, developing, and integrating AI solutions within clinical settings.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 8 years of related experience.
  • 3 years of AI development design, development or management experience or supervisory equivalent.
