Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Quantitative Engineering Internship to join our Analytics Centre of Excellence team (ACE). The ACE team provides subject matter expertise, skills and specific knowledge within Agriculture, Energy, Freight, Metals, FIFX, Exchange traded markets, ESG, SFI and Data/Specialist in order to build and maintain the content currently covered on existing DBOR. This internship will provide hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and research methodologies, contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quantitative models.
• Support the development of business cases and project plans.
• Conduct statistical analyses to support research findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Good Analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
