The Management Engineering Student Co-op will play a vital role in supporting the Management Engineering Department by applying their academic knowledge and skills to real-world projects. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare industrial systems engineering while contributing to the company's overall goals.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Assistance:

  • Work closely with management engineers and project teams to support various initiatives.

  • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvement.

  • Conduct research and prepare reports on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Process Optimization:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes or procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement.

  • Utilize data analytics tools to measure and track process performance.

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to support decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Learning and Development:

  • Actively seek out opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge.

  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance professional development.

EDUCATION:

Enrolled in an Industrial Systems Engineering Bachelor's program at an accredited university.

Required: Completed a course in Engineering Statistics.

Preferred: Completed courses in Simulation Modeling and Optimization Modeling.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
