Insight Analyst- Regulatory

We are looking for a Regulatory Insights Analyst to join our busy and dynamic Data & Analytics team in our Hyderabad office.

Within our team, you will be supported to progress your technical talents and develop your skills in cutting-edge analytics to promote the health of our business.  We are looking for a Regulatory Insights Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team, to be based in our Hyderabad office. You will be a contact and analytical partner for our Risk and Regulatory stakeholders, providing ad-hoc and proactive analyses, as well as promoting an insight-driven approach to decision making. You will be working closely with the other analysts and with Data Science team, becoming the analytical expert in the area for data regarding a selection of licenced jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being the data analytical partner for Regulatory/Risk stakeholders and the wider business
• Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis, with ability to cater for different audiences
• Deliver actionable insights directly
• Inform the key stakeholders and discuss actions when required
• Work closely with other departments to deliver industry-leading results in Risk

Requirements:

• Knowledge or previous experience in the gaming industry (desirable)
• Understanding or previous experience in regulation, regulatory aspects and operations (essential)
• Degree in quantitative area (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science) or relevant industry experience (essential)
• practical experience with large datasets and analysis tools of your preference (Python, R, SQL, KNIME, MicroStrategy, or equivalent (essential)
• Experience in applying statistical techniques to problems (e.g. hypothesis testing, causal impact, regression analysis, time series analysis, or similar)
• Ability to present and explaining results of your analyses
• Passion to further grow your expertise and develop experience in applying innovative techniques
