Senior Insight Analyst- Product

We are on the lookout for a Product Insight Analyst with a specialism in data. We leverage data in many ways at PokerStars e.g. to grow revenues, excite players or remain compliant. Thus, there are lots of opportunities to make a positive impact in our Data & Analytics (D&A) tribe.

You will be a point of contact and analytical partner for our stakeholders, providing ad-hoc and proactive analysis, as well as promoting an insight-driven approach to decision making for commercial and product changes.

You will be working closely with the Data science and other business intelligence and Analytical teams, supporting with ETL,EDA and data prep as well as knowledge sharing between teams.

The role reports into the Senior Analytics Manager and is based in Hyderabad, India This role follows our hybrid approach to work – a mixture of office and home working.

What you’ll do:

• Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis, with ability to cater for different levels of audiences (solution, product and supervisor level metrics)
• Validate product hypothesis and measure impact of rolled out products changes
• Apply statistical methodologies to validate your findings
• ETL data from different platforms
• Collaborate on  long-term projects leveraging both behavioural and financial data
• Be able to work independently and produce proactive insight for stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the data team sharing best practise and knowledge

What you’ll bring:

• You have a degree in quantitative area (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent
• You have several years of previous experience as a product/data Analyst
• You are a natural problem solver, and can apply a variety of statistical analysis techniques (e.g. hypothesis testing, causal impact, regression analysis, time series analysis, or similar)
• You have Practical experience with large datasets and analysis tools of your preference (Python, R, SQL, MicroStrategy, or equivalent)
• You have experience working in a highly regulated industry
• You have passion to further grow your expertise and develop experience in applying innovative techniques
• You are a self-starter. You are proactive, energetic, and motivated to add value
• You have experience working in an agile organisation, and championing agile practices
