Intern – S&OP Intern Data Analyst– Alajuela, Costa Rica – 2024-2025

Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 6 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Costa Rica. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.

In this role, you have the opportunity to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into driving key business decisions.

You are responsible for

• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.

• Developing and implementing data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and effectiveness.

• Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources and maintaining data systems.

• Developing data architecture, models, and designs, ensuring integration across various ERP systems, and establishing necessary control points.

• Identifying and evaluating fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major data areas.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Active student looking to develop a graduation project

• Student in the areas of information management, data management, analytics, computer science, information technology or similar.

• Proven knowledge of data modelling techniques.

• Have a letter from the university, where it is specified that the internship is a graduation requirement

• Insurance "Poliza de Riesgos estudiantiles"

• Strong communicator: ability to explain the “world of data” to business

• Strategic thinking, tactical planning

• Advanced English level
