Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison between Business End Users, IT and Power BI Development team; working with stakeholders to identify their reporting/data requirements.
• Work with vendors to receive all the data and make sure consistency and quality is maintained.  Ensure that all data are received in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with global teams to streamline ingestion of data into existing system.
• Continuously work with BI development team to understand the gaps or data quality issues.
• Have a clear understanding of the existing system and able to do a root cause analysis and collaborate with teams to resolve the issue.
• Ability to understand the functional aspects of business and help BI development team to implement necessary business rules in front end.
• Should be able to do unit testing for reporting solutions being delivered.
• Collaborate continuously with the Agile Scrum team to groom, refine issues and plan sprints to implement new reporting efficiencies, milestones, or scoping efforts.
• Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Conceptualize and design the best fit solution against the requirements.
• Collaboration with stakeholders and other internal teams through effective communication.
• Complex problem-solving capability and providing out-of-box solutions.
• Documenting and emailing the objectives clearly and to follow good email etiquettes.
• Must be analytic, creative, self-motivated, organized, managing time and be a fast learner.
• Work Effectively within a global team connecting from different parts of the globe.

Essential Skills and experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a role associated with reporting, analytics, and/or data management.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Basic understanding of working with various BI tools
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Experience with gathering user requirements, developing system documentation, testing or analytical business reports.
• Experience in gathering and documenting requirements for Data Requirements.
• Collaborate and work with teams across various service levels.
• Strong service focus.
• Engaging and friendly personality.
• Collaborative, flexible and a team player.
