Job Description
In Sophia-Antipolis, at the heart of Europe's leading technology park, we're looking for an English-speaking Data Engineer to work in an agile and international environment.
The projects are cross-functional, offering a dynamic and challenging environment.
Mission : Data Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer, with 3 years’ experience, to join the Data Engineering Team.
The department's mission is to support organization to make data available to all teams and enable them to take well-informed data-driven decisions
Main responsibilities :
You will be in charge of designing and developing data driven solutions.
- Design, develop, optimize, maintain and support the operation of data products
- Manage and optimize databases to ensure high performance and data integrity
- participate to the adoption of Cloud and data engineering best practices.
- Responsible of platforms stability
- Participate to the data assets migration to the public Cloud using Microsoft Azure, Databricks and other technologies
- Supporting teams’ activities (collaboration, data readiness and industrialisation initiatives)
- Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle
Qualifications
Skills / qualifications :
- English speaking (mandatory)
- Master’s degree
- 3 years of experiences working in data engineering role
- Professional experience in Scala development (mandatory)
- You are familiar with : Spark, Databricks
- Nice to have : knowledges/experiences Microsoft Azure
