We create technologies, tools, services, and platforms to improve productivity of other Apple teams.

Description

As a senior leader in our MLPT org, you will lead one important aspect of ML Platform: ML Data Management. This includes but is not limited to: Dataset sharing and discovery, legal/compliance enablement, Dataset lineage, Data-centric user experience, efficient data processing for optimal model training. Your key responsibilities are: - Own the product roadmap, vision, and strategy for the platform solution area; collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize features and enhancements. - Lead your team to develop the solution that are high-quality, user-friendly, and scalable. - Work with legal/privacy team to create product features that empower them with policy enforcement, including but not limited to legal review process, access control, retention policy enforcement, license enforcement, etc. - Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for platform innovation and enhancement. - Encourage a culture of trust and innovation within the team, promoting experimentation and learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master of Computer Science or equivalent degrees
• 10+ years of working experience in data management, machine learning or related fields
• 5+ years managerial experience, leading distributed teams
• Proven leadership experience in a technology-driven environment, with strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in working in data and machine learning area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of leading large scale Data Platform or ML Platform in production
• Proven capability to do vision setting and organization large teams to deliver products successfully
• Extraordinary written and verbal communication, with the ability to make the complex problem simple.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and growth.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $278,400 and $445,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
