BI Engineer

About the Job 

As a BI Engineer at Aspire, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights through the development of advanced data visualizations and reports. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and tools to drive business decisions and enhance data-driven strategies.

What you’ll do

• Document BI processes, data models, and reports. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  
• Monitor and improve the performance of BI solutions and databases, Implement best practices for data handling and query optimization.
  
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences, and work across cultures and time zones.
  
• Maintain and optimize databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage, Perform regular data quality checks and resolve issues as needed.
  
• Create interactive and user-friendly reports and dashboards using Looker and Tableau, Ensure reports are aligned with business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  
• Design and implement data models and schemas to support business intelligence needs. Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  
  

 What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  
• 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
  
• Proficiency in Looker and Tableau for creating reports and dashboards.
  
• Strong experience with SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
