What You Will Do:

The Analytic Methodologist will provide analytic methodology services in support of GEOINT analysis. Knowledge of data modeling, methodologies, and processing techniques shall be employed on behalf of GEOINT analysis and community customers while providing operational support.

  • Use analytic tools to develop models, visualize data, and perform a range of analyses (e.g., systems analysis, comparative analysis).

  • Document and visualize data both temporally and spatially to assist in data integrity checks, ask the next question, and display analytical assessments.

  • Apply emerging and innovative analysis techniques to answer key intelligence questions. Provide technical consultation into the development, evaluation, use, and deployment of solutions to optimize GEOINT analysis and production.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM related discipline

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in data analysis

  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Pig or R), modeling software, spatial analysis tools and concepts, data mining methods, database structures and analytic information extraction and visualization.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Demonstrated experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve complex problems using analytic tools and techniques such as GIS, quantitative methods and data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data mining, cleansing, and exploring spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data in both structured and unstructured formats.

  • Understanding of concepts associated with structured data and relationship database

  • Familiarity with EUCOM and/or PACOM missions

  • Experience using mathematical concepts and techniques to solve complex GEOINT analysis problem sets

  • Military experience

  • Professional certifications or advanced degrees
