Role Title: Manager, Performance Marketing Digital Measurement (L09)

Organizational Overview: The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Together this team drives ROI and elevates Synchrony's brand presence in a dynamic market.

Role Summary/ Purpose:

Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Performance Media and Creative Agency committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this agency, our Measurement Team is focused on providing analytics and insights to support data-driven decision making across all channels and customer touchpoints. We are seeking an Analyst, Digital Measurement and Reporting who will support digital media measurement, performance reporting and data visualization, and campaign insights generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle end to end project development starting from requirements gathering to project delivery and managing stakeholders

  • Collect and clean digital media data, perform data quality assurance, and create dashboard visuals to report on campaign performance

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze digital media data to draw key insights and learnings, partner with digital channel teams on campaign optimization recommendations

  • Support cross channel measurement to evaluate and refine activity, including but not limit to test and learn, conversion lift studies, and ROI / ROAS analysis

  • Develop the reporting framework to solve the business requirement and problem statement

  • Build self-serving dashboards that provides business insights and actionable items to the Process Owners and the Leadership team

  • Maintain the developed reports and handle the change/fault requests

  • Assist with ad-hoc based digital media analysis and drive insights

  • Assist Ad Ops team in campaign trafficking / tagging processes

  • Document measurement and reporting projects and ensure processes can be replicated and scaled across platforms

  • Proactively propose, initiate, execute projects that create business impact

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of reporting experience using SAS, SQL & Tableau and Digital Analytics

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of Digital Analytics experience

  • Deep familiarity with paid digital reporting platforms (Display, Programmatic, SEM, Video, Social), including UI navigation, report creation and downloading, digital media data structure

  • Strong analytical skill with the ability to interpret media data and develop action plans

  • Strong attention to detail, can perform large scale data quality assurance tasks with curiosity and sensitivity to data abnormalities

  • Proficient knowledge in the Google analytics suite (Google Analytics, Big Query, Campaign Manager) and reporting tools – Tableau and Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables

Desired Skills:

  • Problem-solving skills & attention to detail

  • Experience financial industry (e.g. banking, credit cards, lending) experience

  • Working knowledge of media data ETL process and programming languages such as SQL and  Python

  • Experience in Media Mix Modeling and Multi-touch Attribution analysis

  • Working knowledge with digital campaign trafficking and tagging processes and tools

  • Working knowledge of other digital analytics platforms/tools such as Branch, Omniture, CDPs, audience management, and attribution tools

  • Familiarity of agile processes

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in SAS, SQL, Tableau & Digital Analytics or in lieu of degree minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in SAS, SQL,Tableau & Digital Analytics .

Work Timings: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (Off Daylight Savings: 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST)
