ABOUT THIS JOB
The role will be data-driven and analytical support for global and local clients from FMCG or Tech & Durables industries. A Senior Insight Analyst will be in support of one or several clients, working with internal stakeholders from client-facing NIQ teams (potential for a client-facing role may arise with time), operating as part of a broader international community, working towards a common goal of supporting the clients in achieving their strategic business objectives thanks to insights & recommendations that are critical to our clients' success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting internal NIQ stakeholders (Consultants, Account Development, local Insights Teams etc.) in their day-to-day work with the client by:
Building strong relationships with stakeholders to manage expectations, recognize needs, offer solutions and recommendations
Being fully independent in stakeholder contact on a regular basis, lead and/or participate in meetings with or without support
Focusing on stakeholder satisfaction and cultivating productive, long-term connections
Fostering a strong understanding of your clients’ business priorities
Executing projects by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting sales data and consumer data, writing client reports, and building presentations
Working internally with other NIQ teams, coordinate and manage work of other associates on the project or on the account (if applicable)
Sharing and actively searching for best practice examples and implementing the approach in their own work whenever possible.
Contributing to the team mission by leading strategic internal projects
Mentoring, coaching and training junior team members, being a role model in terms of NIQ principles, engagement, proactiveness, and dedication to quality
Qualifications

In this pivotal role, you will prove that you excel in independently building and managing relationships with internal stakeholders, while being open to a client-facing role in future (on a need basis). You will drive impact by supporting the clients in making strategic growth decisions. Collaborating with various teams will help uncover insights and improve business performance. With a natural knack for managing time and deadlines, you will be a role model for your colleagues, demonstrating curiosity, engagement, and accountability. Additionally, you will foster the development and high-quality outcomes from your junior associates by acting as a coach and a mentor.
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Total 2- 5 years of experience in the FMCG, Retail, or T&D industry and/or related sales, category management, market research, data analytics
Knowledge of NielsenIQ and/or GfK data and systems would be considered as an advantage
Strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written (at least C1 level)
Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is an asset
University degree in Business/Marketing/Economics or related field
An aptitude & desire to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, while being open to a client-facing role in future
Strong numerical confidence, data visualization skills, and ability to translate numbers into clear insights and recommendations
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time
Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Comfortable working in a virtual environment
