At ITT, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing analytics dashboards, developing and maintaining data pipelines and building data models that help the business make data-driven decisions. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with cloud data technologies, enabling you to have a comprehensive impact on the organization’s data strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

More specifically you will:

  • Design and implement data models to support business analytics and reporting
  • Work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights
  • Be part of the development and maintenance of cloud data pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and store data from various internal and external sources
  • Ensure data quality and governance practices are followed throughout the data lifecycle
  • Work with SQL, Python, and Azure Data technologies
  • Collaborate with business units to design self-service analytics solutions, enabling users to create their own reports and analyses
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in data analytics, continuously improving tools, processes, and best practices on Azure

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, or a similar role
  • Experience in data modeling and database design for reporting and analytics use cases
  • Experience in data visualization tools, more specifically Power BI with a focus on designing user-friendly dashboards
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing, data analysis and transformation tasks
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure
  • Experience working in agile development environments and be a collaborative team player
  • A team-oriented mindset and a passion for data-driven innovation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with version control tools (git), working in dev and production environments
  • Familiarity with data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Exposure to data science concepts for analytics will be considered a plus

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, STEM or a related field
  • Data Analytics, Data Science or Data Engineering certifications / bootcamps / Master’s degree are a plus
