The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Core Lab Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.

As the Senior Master Data Analyst, you’ll be primary liaison between master data, IT, and cross functional teams. You’ll be providing direct support to assigned business areas and will work directly with clients (internal/external). As an analyst, you will apply IT, Python programming, business knowledge, and experience to develop solutions for day-to-day problems and future projects/procedures. You will also be expected to eventually lead department level initiatives and provide assistance to Program/Project Managers on all phases of current and future projects.

What You’ll Work On

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on projects, issues, and more to foster automation and innovation.

  • Participate in training sessions for multiple applications and procedures which may lead to you becoming a SME (subject matter expert) that will conduct these trainings.

  • Independently takes the initiative to develop documentation, innovative solutions/process improvements, and looks to optimize standard operating procedures.

  • Utilizes critical thinking and available resources when problem solving.

  • Must be open to feedback and can thrive within a fast paced and highly dynamic environment.

  • Can pivot between multiple tasks and procedures throughout the day.

  • Works with minimal management direction.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute Python scripts and environments.

  • Develop and maintain multiple routing applications, dashboards, trackers, and flows in SharePoint and Power Automate.

  • Learn, document, and upload new year cost loads in SAP.

  • Learn and document all aspects of the yearly PLAN cycle in the Financial Product Hierarchy.

  • Perform analysis and cleanup of master data for numerous corporate projects.

  • Adheres to morning and evening check in/outs.

  • Promptly reviews/responds to all incoming messages, emails, etc.

  • Maintains a professional, respectful, and open/collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 4-7 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of business experience.

  • 4+ years of Python experience.

  • Strong and proven desire to learn, innovate, and optimize above all else.

  • Strong communication skills, including presentation and training.

  • Ability to facilitate between the business and technical (IT) community.

  • Strong analytical skills in terms of data, processes, and systems.

  • Knowledge of Informatica IDD (aka MDM) environment.

  • Strong MS Office Skills, especially MS Excel and MS Access.

  • Experience with Data Warehouses.

  • Cognos/Toad/Power BI and SQL skills.

  • Experience with AS400.

  • Knowledge of diagnostics business, including products, markets, and business models.

The base pay for this position is

$72,700.00 – $145,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
